Boat Ramps and beach launches at Straddie!

I am heading to North STRADBROKE Island for the first time to enter the straddie classic in August. I will have the use of a four wheel drive and was wondering if other Ausfish members could give me an idea on boat ramps and beaches where I could launch my 19ft aluminium half cabin.
    Any help would be great.

Best ramp is at one mile near little ships club. you can also try the ramps at Amity , but have a mate with you as the current can be very strong. There are plenty of beach launching places but you need to check conditions (beach and gutters and tides ) when you are there.

I agree with the other message, the boat ramp at One Mile, Dunwich is the best of all, though limited car and trailer parking is the only draw back. The beach area along Flinders is the best for launching to my knowledge, but as said before you must check the conditions as it could get a bit hairy.
