jocool, what anyfish said obviously they come off regularly and a coat of grease is on the seats.
you have to store your rods with reels on just in case you need to go on an emergency fishing trip

Those are some really cool set-ups you guys built there! Very good! I'm going to have to copy them. Did you copy a manufactured model or were they products of your own ingenuity? Either way, they look good!

Here is mine its free standing
That's a good design too Snelly! That would be good for a corner. Saves space and looks good too.

Thanks, I now have an idea on what to build.
My Hubby(top bloke, can't fish for nuts ) is now going to build me a rack and I will put a picture on when he gets around to finishing it.
I'll post a pic of mine next February!
They finally got on site (Feb 14th was the start date), and the slab went down yesterday.........I HATE living in this bloody rental!
kev the impatient
made won out of a old cloths rack $10.00 at markets for rack plus rod holders
Hi Boof,
I am not sure I would store them in the middle of the back yard ???
But that is what makes yours pretty good, you can move it around.
You sure can.........it looks like one I had nicked outta my shed!........on 2nd thoughts?........the shed looks familiar,<scratches head, removes splinters>.......bloody hell! they didn't knick that too did they? ;-)Originally Posted by SeaHunt

Yeah!! Finally got my new rack, even if I had to stain and gloss it myself. Doesn't it look great, and it works good too. I have more pics if anyone needs to build one from this.

Another pic. May need to get some more rods to fill the gaps!
Well done Julie
Good idea trading the hoover.... mine cost me $150 yesterday to fix the pump... bumma, coulda bought a fishing rod with that
Don't use the hoover too much - it wears out the carpet
This rack only cost about $25 to make, and that was mostly the marante, nice timber to work with and a good finish. Compliments any room in the house.
