No More Marine Radio Courses!

What a damn shame! We busted our guts to help the Boaties out by running fairly regular radio courses FREE but the total lack of interest from the boating community at large and the cancellation rate of those who promised to attend has left us with no alternative but to go back to running these lectures only for our own members. The last two courses had from twelve to fourteen all confirmed to show up, we outlaid $750 for the non returnable radio manuals, ordered the exams, provided the instructors, the building, computers, projectors et all and we had six out of the first course of 13 turn up and only four out of the 12 last night! Three of whom were our own guys! To the guys from Ausfish who came along, their attendance was 100% although responses to our advertised courses were almost non existant on the many posts I made. Never mind, lesson learnt! Anybody wants to buy a brand new Marine Radio Manual, drop into our Base on the weekend and you can have one for $25.00! Bummer!!
