Just a reminder for anyone planning a holiday in Queensland in the barrier reef marine park, that there are 3 nine day periods in oct, nov, and dec. for reef fish.
The dates for closures this year are:
October--8 till 16
November--6 till 14
December--6 till 14
During these times all coral reef fin fish are protected, and any caught accidently, must be returned unharmed.
