    BLOODY WIND!!!!

Yet again, We were so looking forward to wetting a line this weekend and the bloody wind ruined that idea!!! [smiley=bigcry.gif]Why is it that the weather warms up, setting up for a SENSATIONAL weekend camping and on the water, and then the wind has to come along and stuff it all up!!! [smiley=argue.gif] [smiley=argue.gif] Seems like we havent had a good fishin' weather weekend in months!!! [smiley=bomb.gif]Oh well, there is always MORE yardwork to do!

Y-Not, you have me excited. You talked about the weather ruining your fishing this weekend. You MUST be from Victoria. I have been looking for another Victorian to talk to.--- Nomad

Sorry, Y-Not, God had a look at your "neck of the woods", but it wasnt suitable, and decided to camp in the Victorian High Country. Now, that really is "GODS COUNTRY." ( Check out the video- "The Man from Snowy River 1" ) A nice piece of North East Victoria !!

    Re: BLOODY WIND!!!!

It seems that mid-week trips are the only option at the moment as that is the only time when the weather is OK. Sickies sometimes need to be taken foe de-stressing. Tip:- if you take a sickie to go fishing, don't get sunburnt beyond all recognition. I've been caught by that myself. Oh well...

    Cheers,
    BIGNICK.

    Re: BLOODY WIND!!!!

The reseaon of BLOODY WIND!!!! its typical boss's weather > all ways windy on weekends wind usually die's off sunday afternoon, monday's pretty good weather & tuesday, wednesday & thursday wind picks up bit more (still chance of a fish ? ) friday & saturday blowning its head off thats weather patten haveing lately.
I wouldn't own a boat if i didn,t have days off during the week (rdo's & ldo's) because the weather is always crap on weekends
i have to agree with the other ausfish members the weather has been poor for the last few months only taken boat out once's in two half months and didn't caught decent fish to take home

    Re: BLOODY WIND!!!!

My old boss was great... He'd phone me at home on a Sunday night and tell me he's not going to be in at work Monday morning Then ask if I wanted to go fishing with him....

Or he'd just tell us during the week that he wont be in the next day because he's "Going Fishing".... So I'd take the day off to and do the same...

I did work experience once with an architect, he was late every morning because he was surfing, and would end the day early or not even come in if the surf was good.

Hi Bignick, That sounds like a blessing. You return to work, tell the boss that you've got scarlet fever, then take a full week off :-)

    cheers
