    Climate change on rec fishing?

Is climate change effecting rec fishing in Australia?

I'm in Japan and one of my mates lost his boat this year in a typhoon but before that he was complaining about not getting out because of the wind like some of you guys. A couple of the other guys here were also complaining every weekend they had off was too windy. Japanese region has had 23 typhoons this year which is already a record and the typhoon season has not finished yet.

Dont know if you get the English National Geographic magazine in your neck of the woods?
If you do, they had a compilation of articles in there about how this global warming issue is affecting the environment. Makes for some interesting reading with arguments for and against the whole warming debate.

All I know is, in this neck of the woods it has gone from hot in summer to "you have got to be kidding me!!!"
The best we did this year was a measly 53 deg C is the shade with 90% humidity at the same time. My mother in law couldnt understand why I walk around with a jumper on in Brisbane with a lovely 23 deg C spring day - To me it was freezing

With those typhoons - have you tried kite surfing???

Never tried kite surfing, Wessel don't fancy it in a typhoon and the wind often drops soon after they pass just leaving choppy seas.
Probably get done for speeding or low flying Japan had record temperatures this year around the 40s people were dying same as the poms do.
