Mate camped there for a couple of nights a couple of years ago and it was very good. Although I only camped in the general camping area where most others did also. I did have a bit of a drive around and there were some really good bush camps on the river only a short 4wd track further on but on the station nevertheless. Can`t tell you about having a dog but I never saw any, and being a working cattle station chanches are you won`t be able to. But give them a ring.
