Where do you get your mullet frames?

I can't find anybody who gets fresh or even frozen ones on regular basis anymore!
Tried the Fish Market at Colmslie, Budds, Manly...nothing! Think I will get some chicken carcasses...........

The Great Aussie Seafood House at Capalaba sells fish frames/heads etc for crab bait or fish stocks etc. I think it's $2.50 or $3.50 a kg.

i always try to go cast netting the arvo before. fresh is better

Make friends with one of those side of the road fisho blokes. I had a mate who wasone and I could get just about anything for bait of this guy + some cheap prawns. Plus you can get some good inside gos of these guys on what is biting because they are all thick as thieves. You do this and you will never have to worry about buying thay crap tweed or bremer bait again.
