The show turned out to be very good viewing, would probably change the opinion of even his harshest critics. I for one enjoyed it very much and no matter what people think of him he has single handedly done more for fishing in Australia than any other individual.

didnt see the show.. but rexy is a good bloke.. my old man played VFL with him... till he sent his leg bone through his knee cap during a game.. heard even back then he was a top bloke and passionate about fishing

I watched it, and thought the ending with that great kid who obviously loved his fishing was sensational.
Great show!!
Loved the story his son told about the time they hit a log in their boat - stuffed the boat, son and other crew member pick up oars to begin rowing, Rexy picks up his rod and has a cast! LMAO
He's a genuine Aussy and one of the keenest fishos around - I can't flaw him, great character [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
