How much more exciting would that have been if the fish had landed in the boat.

That video was released on
APRIL 1st just so you know.
I've got footage of a black about 50 kilos by the side of the boat, where I am on top of the gunwhale looking down the lense and the thing launches itself straight at me....
Also one of the younger deckies up here got speared through the calf late last year. Imagine the risk of an infection from a marlin bill ?
Seen a Mako land in a boat.
Cheers

Makes for a good story down the pub. Footage and all. very nice.
ya don't hear of many landing in boats but just seeing then boat side going off just has you wondering
you sure hear about plenty of makos
i have had 1 fish jump over boat , there is also footage i have seen of a 200kg blue jump in back of boat and smash things up,including crew
I just luv the pinning, and then it goes off literally to pin the culprit but misses!!
Boy they're smart!!! Oh sh***t!!! as the fish rattles the overhead rods.
Absolute classic.....
i have heard 1st hand a story of a cranky little black marlin that decided he wanted to come inside the boat... not just in the cock pit. the fish shot through the cockpit, through the door, ended up down in the kitchen!!
