    these are some size limits you might be suprised iwas i thought that the limit for sweetlips was 30cm

    NO surprizes there. these limits etc have been law for some time now !

    And have been discussed at length here.

    and for those who have troube identifying the various species, call 132523 or visit www.dpi.qld.gov.au/fishweb and ask to sent a " Reef fish field guide " ( to species regulated in the Fisheries{ Coral Reef Fin Fish } Management Plan 2003, printed June 2004.

    Further, the current " Guide to Recreational Boating & Fishing in Queensland " has a good guide revelant to the limits etc. This guide is produced by Maritime Safety Queensland, and can found at most boat chandleries and tackle shops for o$.
