    kingies

ok fella's. so how big do they really grow? i caught one at eden and it measured over one meter, weighed around 20 kilos and it took forever to get in the boat. i must say it is my best kingie yet.
    question time...
    1. do they migrate to warmer waters during winter? ??? or do they just hag around but go off the bite?

I read an article in a fishing mag once that they grow to over 40/50kg. They had one in the boat that was 41kg. It was caught in South Aust.

A mate caught one off Sydney at the Peak in the mid 80's. It went 51.3kg and was caught out of a Seafarer V Sea I think..
