I'm a telecom project tech for a local energy company.
I stick to the northern side of the bay and beyond (on a good day).

I am from Tassie and work in the offshore oil/gas industry.
So basically spend a bloody lot of time on the water.

We do get to fish at times out here and have caught some good fish around Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia etc. also seen some beautiful big sail fish and whales right next to us. All just fantastic to see.

Cheapest way is to buy a used engine in the UK and ship it over. I blew a Disco TDI, they wanted $6000 to rebuild here. I bought an engine in UK for $1200 and paid $750 to ship it to Tasmania!!
