    Danger of getting snagged

Look at this story! This has to be either the luckiest or unluckiest fisherman I've seen in quite a while. I've had lures and hooks come flying at me and give me a scare but this is unbelievable! One more reason to wear sunglasses while fishing. Safety!

    Very scary stuff.

Now I know why my father was always so adimant about me keeping my head turned when breaking off a snag when I was a kid.

Thats why I always turn away from the snag when trying to retrieve my gear....

Snagged and reefing back using the rod, That's just asking to have an accident.

I bet he won't do that again.

They use big weights over there. I bet he's glad he didn't have one on with grapplers.
