have to admit, as an experienced fiherman, luv the shows that are on telly simply because they are about fishing, ya can't beat the kik*rs e homevideo with some awesome catches though, they are the best, no ads as we know what we want to buy already, just pure fishing.
    Cheers, Mark.

like amatuer fishing. seeing what the average joe is catching is a whole lot more realistic than watching rex hunt cram 2 weeks footage in to a 30 min time slot

I think a mixture of amature fishing action and informative would be tops. Get to see your average joe catching good fish while giving away a few tips and techniques at same time.

Voted for amateur, Heath...You know i'd rather watch your vids than all the others on TV.
Although shows like Wildfish, A River Somewhere etc take some beating.

Anything that shows you technique and rig set up for different species.
Basically anything that shows the amatuer how to catch fish

    More on Bait rigging
    roughly giving spots
Showing sounder details ie whats on the sounder
    How to look for bait.
I know a lot of these things but different techniques are good in different places.
    the whole experience.

    Cheers Mark

Amatuer footage is okay when people leave the zoom button on the camera alone! AND when they cut out all the rubbish in between fish AND when they don't move the camera too quickly. I get seasick just watching some of it

The Fishing DVD series is great value for money as well. 2 hours of fishing for under $10. Fishing DVD 3 will be out next month
