I am looking for suggestion for a 10 day fishing trip land based (maybe camping so could be an island) for mid March 2006. Looking for ideas of were the best fishing regions are at this time of year and what fish types we could expect to encounter. We mainly bottom bash and troll for toothy types. As I said let the fun begin.

im heading to moreton feburary for a week landbased. Camping at bulwer and just going to trek around flick plastics along the beaches etc for monstor flatties

Try getting dropped on masthead island off gladstone, or musgrave off 1770. Bit of trip prep involved esp for masthead as no daily services, but a great spot for ten days.
