Give a man a fish, he'll eat it and fall asleep.
Teach a man to fish and he'll endanger an entire species
Anyone been to tangalooma for new years eve?
Is it really busy? Is anything put on by the resort?
All I know so far is that people let off flares illegally at midnight?
Whats it like safety wise?

Safety wise if a summer storm blows up in the afternoon, get out and away from everyone else and ride it out by yourself. Anchors drag and everyone slams into everyone else. No protection in a strong northerly. The wrecks offer little protection now as they've sunk well into the sand. I've been going there for over 20 years, same 'ol story, check the weather forecast, don't drink on the water.
It was going to be my venue of choice this year but was too late to grab some resort accommodation I'd be interested to know what it's like, I'll get in earlier next year.
Good advice from marineboy,
I would be giving the place a wide berth storm or not, whats a few meters away from everyone else up or down the beach gunna mean.
Seems like alot of people leave there brains at home over there.
