PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant VBA_SCRIPT - assumed 'VBA_SCRIPT' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in ..../includes/functions_navigation.php(802) : eval()'d code on line 1 BoM forecasts - what does "average" mean?
Noticed last weekend the BoM forecasts were using the word "average", as in "averaging 15 knots".
I don't recall seeing this before.
What would your interpretation be?
10kn half the time and 20kn the other half? Or steady around 15kn?
It might be their new word for ''I DON'T HAVE A CLUE. CAN ANYONE HELP US?"
I reckon they were covering there ar$e a bit over the crissy hollidays and forcasting a bit higher than what they thought wich stopped me from going fishing a few times > >
In the same way whenever I see "Mostly Fine" I think that's an each way bet that says if it rains then nobody can criticize the weather man, but they have no idea wich way the weather will turn.
