    Re: Burdekin River tides

    Hiya freddies,
Say hello to my mum and dad while ya there..............they have lived there in the Burdekin area all their lives..............GENERALLY the burdekin tides are an hour later than Townsville tides but its dependent on which creek in the area...........

Groper is not a bad creek to fish........lots of snags if you can get out near the mouth and head up the creek on your left or head around to the right and there is a small inlet about 400 metres up that is allright on the runout tide

Or the whiting should be alright around June so the channell going out FROM the mouth should see light lines tight

    Cheers

    Is it near Abbot Point?

    You could try using WTides
    http://www.wtides.com/

Gives you tides and solunar tables like this:
