    Geez mate,

I thought you were doing pretty well to continue working at 80 anyway

You'll have to fish most of the week because Mrs Touchy won't be able to stand you making stinking burley and pulling reels apart all over the house.

Just think - if you've lost that many body parts to fishing just on weekends - there'll be nothing left of you after going midweeks for a year or two

Enjoy it mate - we're all jealous.

Been there - dun that Touchy!
    Congrats all the same.
The first year is great, so many fish.etc.
......and then the rot sets in, ya have to have a hobby or interest 'cos you can't fish 24 x 7 for ever.

The worst thing I've found is I don't get public holidays anymore.

    Enjoy it, I do.

Well done Touchy. Hope you enjoy your long awaited leisure time. Just remember to post your catches and let us know when they are biting. At least that will help us that are still stuck to weekends only.

Congratulations Touchy. I hope you get a gold reel instead of gold watch as your retirement gift.

Welcome to the club Touchy. It's great to go fishing when the weather, tides and seasons are all just right and most of the population can only look out the window and dream about it, wishing it was the weekend.
    Enjoy!!

PS - and who says you can't go fishing 24X7?

Well well Young Fella, the day has come.

Pretty well deserved I'd say. Now I suppose I'll have to rely on YOU to keep me up to speed on the Breams etc ?

    Enjoy..................Fred !
