The larger gas suppliers like BOC etc should be able to help, you may have to order a bit in advance though.

Not sure about the Southside but I've bought 5kg blocks of it from iceworks at Hemant and Northgate. Maybe check the yellow pages? That's what I did. Good luck

G'day mate, depends how you are sending the fish if by air DO NOT use ANY ice at all or the airline could knock you back. The best way I have found is just get a broccoi box with lid( you know the foam type) pack tighty with frozen fish and tape the lid on tight.
I packed one at 3am one morning to go to Darwin ,missed my flight in Brisbane and waited till 3pm for flight and got to Darwin at midnight. When we unpacked the box of fish all of them were still frozen solid. This was 2 days before Xmas 2 years ago so even in summer they were ok.
just mark the box clearly "frozen fish No ice"
hope this helps you out a bit.

p.s. if you are flying aswell you can put it through as luggage
Rainbow Trout is NOT skittle flavoured fish.........

You can get some from Arctic Ice at 120 Redland Bay Road Capalaba
you will have pre-order it get them on 32455277
This what i do before going to Fraser each year you will have to tell them how many days dry block do you want eg 2 day block or 5 day block
    I hope this helps you

There's an engineering shop in Deshon street at Wooloongabba on the left hand side heading east a couple of doors down from Adrenaline spearfishing supplies that normally has it without ordering it. A five - seven day block is about $40 whereas BOC want $75.
