I reckon it's right and just in case that this is true I'm getting the weeks work out of the way early and fish later in the week.
Or I can take it easy all week and just going fishing
Cheers Scott
G'day
I was just wondering with this big blow [smiley=vrolijk_1.gif] happening whether or not the fishing improves after a cyclone?
My thinking is that lots of stuff is stirred up and it may trigger the food chain?
Does anyone have any experiences one way or the other??
Cheers

I can positively tell you that fishing DURING the cyclone doesn't work

I have done a bit affter a cyclone, thew reef can actually slow down because large amounts of sand wash over the bombies killing lots of coral. I can remeber in winifred I went to kurrimine beach for a spear and lots of reef covered with sand it was truly amazing
I guess its all dependent on what sort of fishing you are doing. In rockhampton the main system, the fitzroy is generally a no go after a lot of rain because of the amount of fresh water that enters the river through the barrage. A good time to put the feet up, a few quite ales and catch up on some fishing maintainence!!!!
