No restrictions cos it is underwater and no one knows it is there, "it is hidden" so to speak.

Went out for an hour's run today in the slop to check the boat over before I put it in for modifications. Sub's still there - docked at Fisherman's. Police are in attendance so don't try getting too close.

I hope they are paying for the police presence. We could be using them to keep some of the idiots off the water. ie. jetskis and other fools that have no idea about boating safety.

Yes we saw that Sub tied up at Fisherman's wharf on Sunday.
3 police boats buzzing around as we went passed on our way to Mud.
Thought they were going to chase us away as they followed close until finally doing a u turn.
Guess they are scared of those terrorists or tourists.

    Nice try Chong.

Your photo is the last of the Russian Akula class (Typhoon) subs. This photo was taken on 26/06/06.
This last one is due for decommissioning next year. Amazing stats on the largest sub ever built.

Length 175M (thats nearly 2 football fields!)
    Beam 23M
    Draft 12M
Displacement Surfaced: 23,200-24,500 tonnes. Submerged: 33,800-48,000 tonnes
Payload of 20ŚRSM-52 SLBMs (ICBM) each carring 10 warheads. That's 200 hydrogen bombs.
They were at sea for so long they had a sauna and swimming pool!
