local marine shop closing down
bit of a sad day
talking to the owner today and asked why and he comment that as a small business he found it increasingly difficult to get his monthly accounts in. Told me of 2 outstanding debts totalling in excess of 20k from boat rebuilds.
I have used this business since opening , they havnt got all my business, maybe 1/2 but I always gave them the option of matching prices and they always gave an honest answer to my requests.
I wish Circular Head Marine all the best in the future.
On the other side of the coin I have been offered any stock I want for my personal use at cost, this is all pre closing sale.
already got 1 outfit
cheers

It is sad when a small honest business is forced to close down, especially when it is because of a$$wipes who wont pay their bills. I wish them the best for the future.

I think he really wanted to concentrate on building his boats and the cashflow of the business hindered that, so the boat building/fibaglassing side will continue but in a different location.
