does any one have any info on this area am going there in the school hollidays staying at the caravan park ,was wondering about security etc. fishing, thanks. hubby
Elliot heads is fairly safe Security wise.
But it's like any other place i wouldn't be leaving the car unlocked,
Fishing can be really good, heaps of Flathead.Bream and whiting.
Also Queenfish can be found hanging around the mouth and in front of the house near the riverview boat ramp.
There is also the artificial reef straight out from Elliot heads.
If your taking your boat..
Have a look at this site if you have a boat and it would pay to give the guys a call since they built the reef. They might have some more current lat longs for you as well.
