Holiday units near Bribie-Storage 4 boat

Any body know a holiday unit complex on bribie that you can store your boat in?Or even a storage marina.Finding it hard 2 find a place that can do this.Have got a 18 month old terror so camping is out of the question.

wayne,,,, check out the shire caravan park in bongaree,,, (bongaree caravan park),,, its right opposite the ramp on the passage side,,, has a 30 second walk to the bongaree shops,,,clubs,,, is fully enclosed and has cabins,,,, plenty of room for boat etc etc and costs,,,well as its a shire park,,,holiday season has its peaks,,,,

other than that theres a handful of ""holiday"" units avail,,,(subject to availability of course),,,

the marina at sandstone point is mainly for storage,,,,chanderey,,hire boats etc,,,

give me a yell if you need a hand with phone no's etc,,,,

Amate of mine goes to Bribie on a regular basis and he rents a house rather than a unit pleanty of room 4 the boat and xtra vehicle. Priced similar to a unit from what I can gather.

all the real estates have holiday home accomadation,,,, but you may have left the run a bit late,,,, school holiday mode is definitley in full swing on the old island,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks 4 the feed back guys.Hey choppa I've heard some people saying that the caravan park has had locals coming through at night pinching stuff.Suppose u will get that anywhere.If u have any phone numbers that wood be a great help!

caravan site is fully enclosed wayne,,,, not predominately because of pilfering,,, but more because it belongs to the shire and is right on the waterfront,,, cabins are on the shop side and vans tents etc are on the bridge side,,,

like anywhere though mate,,,if you have something that somebody else see's or wants,,, and if its left out in the open,,,,,it can walk,,,, happens more around tourist season,,, and most of it is done by the tourist

i've been on b/isl for over 15 yrs,,,, never locked my front door in any of the houses that i own,,,
doesn't mean that i'm not susceptible to thieves,,,,i think there a bit more wary

Maybe Placid Waters Holiday Apartments at Bongaree, just down the road from the jetty heading towards the RSL. It overlooks a park right on the water and is very close to the boat ramps. I don't know what boat you have, but they have undercover parking which will fit a tinny easily, or there is some outside guest parking as well.

How's it going big ren.The problem is my boat is 3.6 meters tall with the canopy up and 2.7 high with it down.That's why I'm having troubles finding places.

Yeh buts that on the trailer though!when i bought it I thought a 7meter deep shed would be heaps but,no waynes law came to the effect!
