Stolen Rods & Reels

I lost about 90% of my rods and reels yesterday when theives went thru all the garages of the block of flats I live in. Stupidly instead of having my gear in my flat as I usually do I had left it downstairs to dry after cleaning after my last trip... Some way to learn a lesson.

The list of items is as follows -

Reels



1 x Snowbee XS780 fly reel with Striper IV surf coloured intermediate fly line with pink

bionic braid backing

1 x TLD20 loaded with dark green braid over 50lb flouro yellow mono.

1 x Shimano Speedmaster IV loaded with Pink Bionic Braid over flouro yellow mono

1 x Abu Garcia 6500c in Red loaded with light green braid

1 x Shimano Aernos reel loaded with light green braid.





Rods



1 x G Loomis GL2 9wt Fly rod – 2 piece

1 x 15kg Shimano Backbone rod, fully rollered

1 x Ugly Stick Custom built. Cork grips, Trigger grip approx 5ft 6”

1 x Daiwa Procaster IV IM-7 Spin Stick approx 6-7 ft

1 x Shimano Backbone “Snapper” Spin stick approx 6-7ft

Sorry to hear about the loss
It might pay to keep an eye on The TradingPost and also do a few visits to the local Pawn brokers and CashConverters to see if the gear turns up there. Obviously they stole to sell again so try all the usual unloading points.
Maybe other guys other suburbs can also keep an eye out.
