At Curtin Artifical reef.
Sand Anchor with chain and a few feet of frayed rope still attached. On Sat 5th March.
I know it is a million to one shot , but I did pull one up on my fishing line a couple of weeks ago, just like it , was pretty corroded so I chucked it back. Kind of wish I had kept it now.
Some diver has probably souvenired mine by now.
SeaHunt it's probably hooked up to mine same thing same place but two weeks ago 1 sand anchor, 4 meters of short link chain and some frayed 10mm rope (yes I know one should use a reef pick in this area but someone left it at home [smiley=hammer.gif])
Damo.
The rope must have been laying over something pretty rough. There was a bit of current, a lot of wind and chop so I had a lot of rope out and got most of it back.
Bought another one from Supercheap pretty crappy quality, but as long as it works and is cheap if they are that easy to lose. No chain yet, might have to get 5 metres or more if I want to anchor there again.
