    A return suprise

Went for a quick spin with the family on sunday. Left from paradise point ramp for the broad water for lunch. Came back 3 hours later to find both the trailer and saftey chain for the boat had there d-shackles stolen.
Lucky I could use the d-shackles of the anchor to get us home safely. In future everything that can either be clipped off, screwed off, or wound of comes off the trailer and gets locked in the car. Hope it never comes to that, becauses thats less time enjoying boating and fishing.

It's insane how much time, effort and dollars we have to put in just to secure our belongings.

I think the middle east has it spot on!!
You steal my stuff.. I cut your finger/hand off!!

I think there's alot to be said for the deterrent of losing a limb!

Wouldn't work in Aus though... We're all too soft on things like that!
Too many people would object because it's "inhumane" to cut off a hand or finger for punishment.

God forbid we come up with a punishment that actually makes people think twice before commiting a crime! :-)

Let's face it.... With the way we treat criminals in this country, crime DOES pay!
