Heath sorry mate but i couldn't resist. That song should be in everyone's DVD/Video.
Murf
Not sure of the weights mate never wieghed one from memory.
Mono
That song suits anything and everything. Should even be played in weddings, funerals and even in church's i reckon
I don't have much footage of Red fishing because that's the last thing i want to worry about when their on the chew. I will make more of an effort to get more footage of Reds in the future but a good set of night lights will be needed as that's when most are caught.
Thanks for all the comments guys

Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day. But ,flogging him into submission will result in him taking up crabbing.... and once he gets a taste of that sh*t, well, he may never return again.
It just keeps getting better... RESPECT Greg......
THAT'S GOLD!
10% of people catch 90% of the fish

Just a question Greg, it looks like you were using a penn reel? Question is why do you keep the ratchet on during the fight with the fish?

Hi Greg;
That video was awesome! Thanks for taking the time to put it together for us. Now I have to learn how to do that...
I can't wait to get out there myself again... great fish to fight (aka steam train) and beautiful eating!
Keep those reports coming!
Regards,
Brad.
ahh bugger
This clip did not have the 3 seconds of the Ausfish logo at the end which is required so i went back into youtube and cancelled my original Video and uploaded the new one with the Ausfish logo in it. I have just noticed i can not modify my original post so it now comes up with "video no longer available" The only way to view it is by putting it into this post. Bugger

Paul- You haven't missed any posts mate Hopefully by Jan 07 I can start posting the start of the process.
Lattic- Yes it was a penn reel (114H) Great old reel and tough as nails. Don't use it much these days but still have a soft spot for it.
The only reason the rachet is on is for Videoing purposes to show when the fish is running otherwise it ends up a very quiet boring video.
Brad- Glad you enjoyed the video and now it's your turn to get out there and do the same thing yourself.
Bandit1- It must have been a while since your last one - cobia that is
