I will give it a go looks like you dont waste any where as much flesh as the way I fillet and skin my flathead.
Are all bones removed?

I will have to give the 2/3rds slice down the middle a go next time I skin a flathead Near impossable to get it off in one go otherwise!!!!!!!

Will give that a go next time. I usually rip the skin off if fish are very fresh, can be a bit of a hit and miss though.

You make it looks sooooo easy. Would you mind advising where you got your knives and what types/ lengths etc.
I'm sure the knives & glove help, but would need to do a lot to get to your standard.
