Moreton Bay Options
Fellow swafters
I have recently moved a boat to Shorncliffe and begun to learn my way around the bay. Inducted to the sport via a strict catch and release practitioner (see Johhno kiribati tuna in long tail posting). I am interested in understanding the bay, seasons and locations for fly options. I've found the weather is big factor in the bay - poor weather options?? Are there any regular bay goers out there?

Re: Moreton Bay Options
Gordo McDonald has a great artical in SW Sportfishing magazine on SWF in MB, may still be on sale.Heaps of options, besides being the "home of longtail on fly".The bit on Moreton bay Nohas on fly looks like fun, Have to try it one day.As 4 bad wether options, some of the local dams are good in certin winds,,,,or the pubs always good too.Youve come to the right spot to ask, some of these Ausfish swoffers know there stuff and most are locals.
