bream on flys
hi i am having trouble getting bait(white bait cockles) etc passed yhe rubbish fish to get to the bream would like to know if fly eould work

of course it would, but you still get the odd rubish fish with it as well, you should try it.

Are these the regular Black Bream, and where are you fishing. Latest news on BB is that they see only blue/green are dichromats and do not see reds. Try black flies or gold flies. They will definitely eat black wiggle tails. You could try a small fluoro chartruse Deceiver, 2" long. Or a clouser.
But yellows, orange and pink end up green or blue to the fish.
And in dirty water it would probably be in grey scale mode, in other words wouldn't see colour at all. Like a b/w picture, brightness and contrast. Black and fluoro chartruse still good. Max

max thanks heaps for the imfo.they are bb.fishing from jetty or what we call a creek.have taken notes on colour .coming from a small town tackle is very minimal.will look in tackle rooms. will let u know how i went thanks again fennel
