    Gotta say that I've seen tooooo many BIG dark shapes under Tuna schools and lost too many Tuna's to sharks to get that close to the water

    Lol,,Like the SCUBA buddy system,,,,,,If a shark comes near you get your knife and stab your dive buddy a few times,,,,than swim as fast as you can.............. MQ

    Hadn't thought of the sacrificial buddy, but I like it... Guess that before heading out we wil have to draw straws to see who becomes shark bait....

    At the Sanctuary Cove Boatshow they had some yaks that were made from a transparent material. Maybe you should try one of them so you can see what is underneath some of those bait balls out the front of Bribie

    Even the bass liked our tubs. They were almost jumping in, weren't they... Bit more practice and then off tuna chasin...

    That half eaten mac tuna that Quinny posted the pic of was eaten at the boat - I took the photo and it was dropped back in to see the shark swim out from under the boat and eat the rest.

    Kenny,,,,,,,,,mate,,,,,,,,,Im all for catchin fushes, just dont wanna get bit in half trying,, In the 1.2yrs Ive been Tuna chasin Ive seen more sharkies than 15yrs of Diving around the bay,,, BUT Let me know when your going for the 1st Tuna trip, Id love to come and watch (from the saftey of a boat ) Id be avoiding Longys tho,If your tippet held youd be towed a long way from where you started, let alone landing the thing, anyone got a video camera?Funniest home videos or When animals attack give prize money dont they.....MQ
