Hi All,
Fished the noosa river today with the Saltwater Flyfishers Sunshine Coast. The day started very slowly as it took awhile to find where the fish were laid up . First of all we fished Woods Bay then the Frying Pan then Calgoa Pt before we found the fish (TAILOR, GT, DIAMOND TREVALLY)laid up in a hole behind the Noosa Sound. We were using striper 4 scientific angler lines (full sink) with olive and white clousers. While i was using a 12# scientific angler Tarpon line with olive and white clousers. It seemed to work better than the full sink lines as it out done the others 6 to 1. We also got busted up on some very big tailor that we didn't get to see.All in all a good days out flyfishing (except for the 35knt breeze).
