Longies at Mud!!

Hey Guys,
went out to Mud Island early this morning B4 work. Saw a small pod of longies (3 or 4) off the east side of the Island.
Set myself up for a shot and got struck by a shocking case of BUCK fever, totally muffed the cast and spooked the fish.
Thems the breaks I suppose!
There is always next time.

Same thing happend to me on the flats up a creek in tin can bay.Saw a 80-85 cm barra on the flats just swimming around had a shot , stuffed up the cast and spooked the barra.
At least we learn from it and remember next time the situation comes up !!
Good to the longtails are finally in the bottom of the bay.

I think the only consolation is that it happens to everyone at some stage. I am spending a couple of hours with Harro this weekend, hopefully I will come away a better caster.
