    Hi DazB,

I've got a 16 ft runabout ( has to serve as a sundeck sometimes for the boss ) so its not exactly great as a fly deck either.

Going to the boat show to drool of getting a Southwind or an Outsider [smiley=thumbsup.gif]with no immediate prospect of getting either

    Mick,

I kept the Longies I landed solo. I just handlined them in and got the gaff into them.

Tailing them may be the best way to go, I you plan to release them.

If you really want to be good, you could just break them off. You'd go through a few gummies though.

Maybe you should learn with a rod with good warranty.

    Wes
