hi fellas
im new to fly fishing and i was just wondering what sot of weight in kilos/pounds can fly rods take for example a #2 weight rod can take what sort of weight and so on thanks for your help

sorry if i sound urgent but i am going to purchase a fly rod by friday so i need to know what weight rod to get

Honestly, if your going to buy a flyrod, go and see someone who knows what they are talking about when it comes to flyfishing, dont settle for a tackleshop that has 1 or 2 flyrods.. or a "Kmart" Special..
Go See Gavin at Tie and Fly at Budina.. he's ur best bet.. and can give you all the advice you need!
Gavin is your man ...He can teach you how to use the gear as well!!!Just dont rush into any ill advise from any old tackle shop like Zeeke said!!!!!!Lots of shops want to help but just dont realy know whats going on..I've been there done that and some of my mates also have been stung!!
