LAke McDonald
Hi all,
Took the Zucchini Bros out fishin' on saturday to Lake Barumba and McDonald. We couldn't of asked for better weather, with almost zero wind and clear skies.
All day we threw everything at them from fly, lures and soft plastics. We managed a zero count from Lake Barumba, but saw a couple of Toga's on the surface. Lake McDonald we managed 8 Bass all up, with James catching two 45cm+ Bass on fly, within a 5 minute window.
We did see schools of Bass on the sounder, however not a touch, very frustrating. Better luck next time.

Hi Wooley,
Sorry for the late reply.
Thanks again from James and me for a great day.
Whist the fish wern't thick and fast, at least the passion for fishing and humor was.
We look forward to doing it again soon.
I have gotten the disc and flies away to you today.
James is very proud of his two bigger than average Bass, thanks to you.
Great day , great company, thanks again
Cheers

Re: LAke McDonald
Lake McDonald is near Cooroy on the Sunshine Coast (Queensland).
Just head up the highway until the Cooroy turn off just near where the 110 kmh zone finished then follow the signs.
Nice place, 2 launching ramps, electric only but you don't have to remove your main engine.

Re: LAke McDonald
Its a nice spot actually. The wind can really howl across the lake sometimes, but its very pleasant.....not a 2-stroke to be heard!
Go the bubbler I say...
