I was ordering a strudwick bluewater elite 8/9 weight fly rod from a sydney fly fishing shop on wednesday and the salesman told me Strudwick was soon to be closed down, and the lifetime warranty would not work in the future! Does anybody know if this is true or not?, as I asked another fly fishing salesman around the Hervey Bay area and he said he hasn't heard anything about the closing down of the Strudwick company...
