am thinkinking of buying a winston ibis 890-4 fly rod. Has anyone heard anything about this model, and if it is suitable for salt water fishing. Was looking for a resonable 8# to start of with. The only thing i could find was that it is a new model added to the range. Hope someone can shed some light on this one.
Never heard of it - My requirements for a rod: Does it carry a guarantee, if not and it breaks would you be prepared to buy another one exactly the same; and do you like the feel of it ?
If you answer yes to both you can't go too far wrong.
