free striping reels

hi guys n girls just curios on those old free striping reels has anyone had any experance with them do they work reason being i used to do a bit of fly fishing but i lost my left arm in a tractor accident a few years ago and havent really tried since think i could still cast but would have trouble stripping any one have any ideas or any one handed technics

Very difficult but there are some atomatic reels that are operated by a lever and that lever is right under the rod holding hand. How you go about doing the casting is something I'm not into but you could look at the reels. There is a web site, www.flyreelmania.com that lists all the fly reels in existance. There are bound to be a few on there. Last time I looked at it was a few months ago, but it might be still there. Maxg.
