Hmmm Look for the price theyre probably not the greatest casters but in this day and age even the cheap stuff has improved from the old days . as for the rod snaping with decent fish on and guides melting or something hmmm!! i doubt it! up to u for $20 they mite do the job until you get enought money together. of course they aint going to cast like a loomis but i doubt if they cast like a peice of wet spagetti like rods of old! they are graphite arnt they? dont bother if theyre just fibreglass!
