I am now leaning towards the Hummingbirs 425 SX sounder. It has split screen zoom, speed and temp, single beam transducer, 300 w power and 4 level greyscale, but only 160 x 160 pixels. I also like the after sales service available in Brisbane. It retails for around $650. Does anyone, preferably who owns one, have any comments?
The other model I am considering is the Lowrance X87, which had not been released yet, with similar features with 10 levels of greyscale, and more pixels.
All feedback appreciated
Jeremy
