Just a question what is a good s/h motor for the 30-60hp range as in hours and age ???
Its for a 60hp 97model 180 hr 120psi on all cylinders about 1/2 price its not the money that I am thinking about but is it a motor worth having or just get a new one?
As you might already know it is not the height of the compression (within specs of coarse)reading it is how close they come to each other and you cant get any better than that. Think about the poor bugger who bought it he paid 50% of the purchase price for 180h and you should expect at least another 300 absolute worst case for your share of 50% how can you go wrong? Given you treat outboards nice!
I assume the comp test was done by yourself or an independant? Mate if I was looking for an outboard and everything else checked out with regard to it's age and has fine compression, well odds are you are laughing all the way to the bank. Nqcairns
