Quintrex Cutting Board
Looking at a Quintrex 4.75 bowrider the other day with a factory fitted cutting board with rod holders. The unit seems to protude well into the cockpit for a small boat.Has anyone have one set up like this & does it pose any sort of problems?

Yeah me, and it is friggin annoying.
I am not sure if it is exactly the same as the factory fitted, because I got the dealer to fit it when I bought the boat , mine is removable with two legs that go into rodholder type holes. I was pretty disappointed with where they mounted it as it makes most of the back seat unusable. I think I have come up with a solution though, new legs on the bait board, longer and with about a 30 degree bend in them that will put the baitboard higher and out over the pod and motor and then I can out a drain hole straight down on to the duck board at the back. Should keep some blood and guts out of the boat also.
