Shano - If it's of any help, www.goldenseal.com.au are in Melbourne and they do a mail order service. They are pretty much the largest stockist that I've found in Victoria. Before you order anything, you'll need to find out the model number and serial number of the engine. Mine is located at the front of the engine on a plate that's rivetted to the inside of the cowling. Chrysler used to change specs at the drop of the hat so it's the safest way to get the right part.

BTW, there is a Chrysler chat group based in America that has some really cluey blokes who are very willing to help with questions - They've saved my bacon more than once. The site is quite interesting regarding the history of Chrysler Marine division, the site is www.geocities.com/thechryslercrew/

    Hi shano
If you take your points to an automotive parts store, they most likely will be able to match the points for you, as they are made by companies like bosh, lucas etc and most of them fit half a dozen different engines and distribritors. the key will be found at a simular place, they come in a grab kit of lots of different ones.
If you buy the parts like this they wount have marine in front of them, so they will also be cheaper
    cheers
