i'm interested in the polycraft frontrunner, and i was wondering if anyone has one and if you could attach some photos of them, if you could show the way that you have them set up, it would be great, includeing what you have done for rod storeage.
we measured the lenght and ours was the same as it was across but will not fit anything over a 6'5" we cut a couple of holes beside the livewell for the longer 7' rods to fit
not sure if you could with the room but what about a rod locker between the two seats???
might not be the best thing for room but it wouldn't be as bad as a yanky bass boat
but in honesty we found the rod locker the hardest thing to do as we wanted to put a seat there and now we can't
only place for the second seat now is behind and to the left of the driver or up on the farward casting platform BUT with it up there it makes it hard to have good vision from the drivers seat and all so scares the poo out of you when the big 50hp gets going
it would be under the floor so as long as you made the rod locker so it could be removed to access the bolf to the floor then i couldn't see a problem
and after all how often would you be accessing the fule tank???
have a filler cap elsewhere to fill up via and you would be going under the floor to the tank once in a blue moon
Brenno
The 70 lt tank does go under the floor between the seats, no you can't move it to 1 side, it takes up all the space.
A rod locker between the seats, not sure will have to look and think
Hi,
if you intend to fit a full frount cast deck, it would be possiable to put in a rod locker.
are you thinkg, center console / side consele/ single side console ?
Hookin,Brett
I think Brenno is looking at the 4.55 Front Runner, which is not as easy as far as a rod locker.
I know, i have been agonising over it for the last month.
Maybe a flat locker up the middle, but it would have to strong enough to be stood on, and would creat a tripping hazard.
I have heard about 1 that had the passengers console left off, then had a locker put along the side with a "side seat", [sit looking at the driver]. That would be an option, but then not as comfy for the passenger. (read wife) as it is a "family boat after all"
Cheers and a Good easter to all
I am heading to Woodgate for the day
Basserman sorry but could you stick up a couple of photos for and aft of your rod locker. And what length can you get in? I'm a dealer in WA and this is my biggest bug bear to date.
