All very interesting, especially the location of the manufacturer fitted transducer bracket and where it's now been located.

Really asks the question, what do manufacturers actually know about transducers ???

    Cheers, Kerry.

Where you've got it now is the correct side for a single standard rotation outboard.

Where it was originally would have simply been crapped on by the prop wash.

    Cheers, Kerry.

Thats interesting, never thought of that. So the correct side is the starboard ?

Thats a great job, bit like a eurotransom, if it is not rude question what did they charge?. What's your plan for the steering? are you going to go hydraulic or will the cable still make the motor through the well hole, it is wider on the right side. nq

    Re: Modifications to Lightning C/C

    Hi NQ,
original setup was hyd steer on stbd side, hence offset motor well. Hyd is back on new motor.
Done by Australian Master Marine at Brendale in 6mm plate with internal box sections & 50mm hat profile behind the engine mount bolts. $1500 incl paint
Hull is 5mm bottom & 4mm sides. This is a fairly rugged rig.
    ROLL TIDE, ROLL.................

    Regards,
    Peter

    Hi Rob,
    1. Johnno=Suzuki with white paint job & Johnno decals.
    2. 1950 cc with fuel inj. Nothing else comes close as far as displacement & you cannot beat lots of cubes
    3. Very good price - much cheaper than a Suzi or anything else
    4. 3 YEAR Non-declining warranty
    ROLL TIDE, ROLL.................
