PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant VBA_SCRIPT - assumed 'VBA_SCRIPT' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in ..../includes/functions_navigation.php(802) : eval()'d code on line 1 Trailer Rollers!!!!!
I've currently purchased a second hand boat, which came with a brand new trailer.
The trailer has got black wobble rollers which are marking the hull. The black marks are mainly all over the front of the hull. I think alot of marks are coming from when I'm driving the old girl onto the trailer.
Does anyone else have the same problem?
What should I do, replace the black rubber rollers with polyurethane ones? Replace only the back rollers.
depend on the boat
glass or alloy they both have diffrent roller that they need to have used!
if its glass the blue rollers are no good and you should only use the black or red rollers and to get the marks off it if glass boat just use a bit of kitten polish and elbow gress
same really for a tinny but only use the blue rollers
if you do decide to change rollers (and i would if the rollers are old and showing abit of wear) i would consider the red for glass blue for alloy and have them sprang all that is is a washer each side and a spring each side then another washer each side in between the posts this would help when driveing the boat on by always haveing the rollers self adjusting them selfs

The boat is made of fibreglass, and the rollers are brand new cause the trailer is new. What might be the cause of the markings is, I've lanoguarded the washers and pins of the rollers, but got overspray on the rollers.This has combined with the black rollers to mark the underside of the boat.
Any suggestions to remove the grease marks.
Didn't really want to change the rollers, 32 rollers x $13 each.

then i would say it is only because the rollers are soft
my black keel rollers also leave a slight mark but nothing water woun't wash off
as i said a bit of tertul wax should see your marks dissaper as long (i know mine has) as it has a slight cut to it to remove them
Mate what ya want to do is get down to K-Mart or Big W or any of the auto parts stores and have a looksie for this stuff called Paint Doctor. It comes in a soft plastic squeeze tube. All you need to do is squeeze about a penut M&M size bit onto a clean cloth and buff it... that will take the markings off.
I use it all the time when W*nkers in car parks open their doors too far. Dads black Saab had a big white mark on it because he can't park and we just buffed it off with this stuff. Works a treat for me.
